Ready to create content faster than ever? Dottie’s got you covered! With the help of Dottie, your AI social media marketing manager, you can quickly and easily generate captions, video scripts, hashtags, blog posts, and more. Simply ask, customize, and post!

Dottie can be accessed whenever you start or edit a post. Click New Post from the left navigation menu for quick access!

Let’s take a closer look at how to use Dottie and how to create posts within Social Curator.

💡Before you create with Dottie, check that your profile details are up-to-date for Dottie to create your custom content!

Caption: You can select the ‘Generate a caption’ template when you first open Dottie. Ask Dottie to write a post about something you talk about in your business (you can type “selling a home” or “eating enough protein”, for example). You can also ask Dottie for something simple, like “write a caption to introduce my business.” If Dottie didn’t get your caption quite like you want, you can easily adjust it! You can either click the ‘adjust’ button for quick changes or you can also type and ask Dottie for the specific changes you want.! Once the caption is finalized, add it to your post by clicking ‘Add to post.

Need to translate any of your captions that Dottie creates? You can either write to Dottie directly in your preferred language or you can just ask her "can you translate this in X language?"

💡TIP: Need to start a new conversation with Dottie? Simply click the broom icon at the bottom of Dottie

Photo: Dottie can also help you with adding visuals to your post! Click ‘remix’ once Dottie has prepared your caption, and select either a ‘Find related photo’ (she’ll share ideas from our Photo Gallery) or ‘Find visual ideas’ (she’ll share ideas for specific visuals you can take yourself or search our Photo Gallery for).

Hashtags: Can’t forget your hashtags! Dottie may have already paired hashtags in the caption but if you’re looking for more, click the ‘remix’ button and choose the “Suggest Hashtags” feature. You can also type and ask Dottie to “send me realtor-related hashtags” or “please add related hashtags.” You can also start a new conversation with Dottie and just get hashtags by selecting that template.

Feeling STUCK on what to say? Head over to the content library, scroll through the caption templates, and then click “Fill” on the one you like and Dottie will customize it for you!

Dottie can create much more than captions! Below are some examples:

Need a good script to follow for a Reel? Dottie’s got your back! Try asking her

“Can you write me an Instagram Reel script?” For best results, add as many details as you can such as context, voice, and audience. Here is an example of what to tell Dottie:

“Can you write me an Instagram Reel script showing the behind-the-scenes of my workspace? Can you write it in a happy tone that’s geared towards tired moms?”

Dottie can help you create the perfect blog post! You can start as simple as you want with something like “write me a blog post for my personal training business”.

Remember, the more information you give Dottie, the more she can help you!

Try something like “write a blog post for my personal training business. It should have a motivational tone and geared toward college students. It should be about the best tips to stay consistent with your workout”.

Want another idea of how to use Dottie? She can help you write your Podcast Episode Description!

Just ask her “write me a podcast episode description” and give a few details about your episode. For example:

“Write a 200-word Podcast episode description for my new episode about the home buying process”.

Starting or updating your website? Let Dottie help you! Try using the following prompt for any website pages:

“Can you help me write a [X number] word section that my ideal client would interested in reading that teaches them [website section i.e. about me, services]? Please include the following details: [include details] “

Example for a photographer:

“Can you help me write a 500-word section that my ideal client would interested in reading that teaches them about my services? Please include the following details: I have 15-minute, 30-minute, and 1-hour sessions.“

If you're creating a course or another offer (like a book or subscription) Dottie can help structure your content.

You can ask her a prompt like "I want to create a [offer]. Can you suggest 3 core concepts that my ideal client would be interested in learning about through a [offer]?" Then follow up to her response with "I want to create a [offer] about [core concept]. Can you break this [offering] down into [weeks/modules/chapters lessons]?

Here is an example for a course:

"I want to create a digital course. Can you suggest 3 core concepts that my ideal client would be interested in learning about through a course?"

"I want to create a digital course about Social Media Strategy Mastery for Business Growth. Can you break this course down into modules with 3 main topics within each module?"
