Want to increase your sales and grow your business?

First, you must identify WHO you want to sell to.

*Spoiler alert* it’s not…

“Anyone who will buy my product or service!”

You must get specific… like really specific.

Here’s why: Knowing WHO you’re selling to helps you create content that attracts the right audience in a personalized, authentic, and fun way. More importantly, it also helps you build trust with your Ideal Client, which ultimately leads to sales. (Yes and Amen!)

Here’s how: Create an Ideal Client profile. This will help you target and speak to your Ideal Client more effectively–in fact–it’s not just an important part of marketing your business online… it’s THE most important part of your business. Period.

>>Once you know WHO your Ideal Client is, you’ll be able to build a more POWERFUL presence on social media, which leads to more sales.<<

When you know who you’re talking to, they become REAL. Instead of trying to have your business matter to everyone, you get to focus on a specific person who knows, likes, and trusts you. (Did we mention that’s the secret sauce to growing your business?)

So how can you make it easy for your Ideal Client to find, engage, and invest in your business? You create social media content (posts, Reels, Stories, etc.) that speaks directly to your Ideal Client.

Ready to identify WHO your Ideal Client is? To get started, ask Dottie the following prompt:

I need help getting really clear on my ideal client. I sell [what you sell] to help [what your offer does/provides]. Can you build out an entire bio of an ideal client for me? Give me their name, where they live, their age, and where they hang out online. Please list their top 10 desires related to [what you offer] and their top 10 pain points. Can you add what their common occupation would be, their societal roles/titles, and a few common personality traits”

💡The more details about your offer you add, the more specific Dottie can get! Here is an example of a Photographer using this prompt:

“I need help getting really clear on my ideal client. I sell lifestyle family photography sessions to help families capture memories in an authentic and natural way. Can you build out an entire bio of an ideal client for me? Give me their name, where they live, their age, and where they hang out online. Please list their top 10 desires related to natural family photos and their top 10 pain points.

Here is an example for a custom candle maker:

I need help getting really clear on my ideal client. I sell 100% vegan and soy candles to help people enjoy the relaxation and style of candles without worrying about animal cruelty or toxic chemicals. Can you build out an entire bio of an ideal client for me? Give me their name, where they live, their age, and where they hang out online. Please list their top 10 desires related to buying candles and their top 10 pain points.
