You know that consistency is key and you’re ready to show up on social media but that little voice inside keeps asking “but what does my ideal client want to see? Should I post reels? Carousels? How often should I post?

We get it. And we got you!

Follow along to create your first posting plan (or use this as a starting point to revamp your current posting plan!)

Your Social Media Posting Plan

1️⃣ Your Profile

Before you can utilize Social Curator and Dottie to create your content plan, make sure your Profile is optimized so Dottie knows exactly WHO your ideal client is and what your business offers. Follow along >>HERE<< to confirm that Dottie has all the information she needs!

2️⃣ Posting Days

The next step in building your content plan is deciding how often you will post. We recommend posting at least 3 days a week for the best results.

3️⃣ Ask Dottie for your posts

Simply paste the below prompt into Dottie:

Please write 5 posts for next week for me. For each post, please tell me whether I should create a reel, create a carousel, or create a post with a static image. Provide a specific idea for it.

The first post should focus on engaging my ideal client. It should be at least 500 characters.

The second post should focus on a benefit of my offer.

The third post should provide tips or education that my ideal client would find valuable. It should be at least 1000 characters.

The fourth post should be a quote that would encourage my ideal client. It should be less than 400 characters.

The fifth post should talk about a feature of my offer.

Do this in a bullet-point format. The sub-bullets should be day, caption, reel, carousel, or photo, and an idea for the reel, carousel, or photo

Note: depending on how many posts you choose a week, you will select which Dottie posts to create.

4️⃣ Create Content

Add the captions Dottie writes into the caption section, add the visual she recommends (or use one of your own!), and then schedule your posts. (You can learn how to auto-post >>HERE<<)

5️⃣ Engage

Give the engagement you want to receive. You may be done with posting but don’t forget to respond to comments, send DM’s, and engage with your Ideal Client!

Voila! You have your first (or new and improved!) posting plan.
