1️⃣ Take a Tour of the Platform

Everything you need to start posting on social media right away can be found in your dashboard (this is the page you land on when you login to your account).

To start a post, simply click “New Post” in the top right corner to open the Draft Editor. From there, you can choose an image, customize a caption, and share to social media.

For a brief overview of the platform, watch the video below.

2️⃣ Create Your First Post

To create your first post, click “New Post” in the top right corner to open the Draft Editor and then follow the below steps.

  • Add a Title

  • Upload an image or select one from our gallery

  • Choose a caption (select “choose a caption” and then click “use” next to the caption you wish to select) and customize it in the Draft Editor.

  • Select “Save” to save your post to “My Drafts” or “Post” to explore options for posting immediately or auto-posting.

Watch the video below for an overview of the above steps

Not sure how to connect your social accounts to make posting even easier? Check out this article to learn how to download our free app and connect your social media accounts.

💡Mindset Reminder:

Make sure you actually POST before you move to Step 3.

Taking messy action is the fastest path to growth. Not sure what caption to choose? Start with an “About Me” caption!

3️⃣ Choose How Often You Will Post

Next, determine how often you will post. There is no right or wrong - only what works best for you!

If you’re looking for a place to start, we suggest you start by posting 5 days a week.

➡️ For Instagram users - this means 5 posts to your feed per week. If you’re feeling extra, some or all of these can be reels. You can also create an additional 2-3 stories/day. But ONLY do these things if you have the capacity. It’s much better to grow slowly and remain consistent than try to do all the things at once and burn out.

Once you commit to how often you will post, simply rotate through the 7 caption categories in the caption library to ensure you’re creating the type of content that will build the relationships that lead to sales.

4️⃣ Identify Your Ideal Client

Even though your product or service might be for EVERYONE, you’ll be able to sell it better when you speak specifically to your ideal client about it in your copy. Learn all about how to discover your ideal client (and tweak your captions to speak directly to them) right HERE!
